Kegel Exercises

Kegel exercises were devised by Arnold Kegel for the purpose of regaining pelvic muscle function in post natal women. As well as improving sexual enjoyment after childbirth Kegel exercise can improve overall enjoyment of sex. Fancy reaching orgasm quicker than before and enjoying a better climax or have you ever tried stimulating your partners penis during penetration just with your vaginal muscles?, Kegel exercises can enable that level of muscle manipulation and before you know it shooting ping pong balls across the room will be within your grasp!

The PC Muscle runs between the pubic and tail bone in both sexes and are the muscles you would commonly use to hold on to your wee if your bladder is full and you are trying to find a loo. Practising at holding your urine stream whilst on the toilet is a good way to start. Gradually build up the number of squeezes that you do daily and don't worry about finding a special time to do it as nobody knows what you are doing. Try 3 sets of 10 squeezes building to 3 sets of 20 and you will start to feel the results within a couple of weeks. Don't go for the maximum squeeze you can manage keep it relaxed and hold each squeeze for about 3 seconds.

Men will also benefit from Kegel exercise and it will improve the chances of multiple orgasm which is less common in males. Once you have exercised for a month or so you may even be able to lift a hand towel with your semi-erect penis!

Kegel toys are less sex toys and more exercise aids, think of them as dumb bells for the vaginal muscles. It is often easier to clench your muscles around something as the resistance can be felt and your partners penis is the perfect tool or a kegel exerciser or love ball. The Smartballs from Funfactory sex toys offers two weighted balls for stimulating movement or the Teneo which is a single ball for squeezing.
