Sex Toys from Philips


Philips have launched their very own brand of sex toy, but these are no ordinary sex toys, no, these are intimate massagers.

We love the marketing men's terminology, enveloping their 'intimate massagers' in the 'relationship care' range offering a warm intimate massager, intimate massager with candle lights & Intimate dual massagers.

Don't get us wrong any mainstream promotion of sex toys in a tasteful (if not expensive) way is a very good thing, making accessible adult products to couples who would be too timid to enter a private shop or shop online.

That's all well & good but remember 'intimate massager' or not you still have to be prepared to pick up a sex toy in Boots & take it to the spotty teenager on the till. The question is if Philips believe they are tapping in to the 35-55 age group who want their sex toys aimed at couples not individuals are the same couples prepared to pop a sex toy in their baskets alongside their shampoo & deodorant.

There is certainly no shortage of high end sex toys on the market. Toy brands such as Lelo & Jimmy Jane have taken a good foothold in the designer sex toy market place appealing to couples looking for decadent gifts & sensual shaped massagers to enjoy.

The juries out at The Boudoir & if you see strange women clad in dark glasses & macs hovering by the condom counter its just us trying to find out!
